TAIEX is the European Commission's instrument for technical assistance and information exchange. TAIEX supports public administrations in the harmonization, implementation and enforcement of EU legislation and in facilitating the exchange of EU best practices, and provides tailored expertise to address issues in a short time through workshops, expert missions and study visits. The Centre was a regular beneficiary of TAIEX assistance and now provides its expertise to other countries through TAIEX expert missions.

- Study visit to the forensic laboratory in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of the TAIEX activity entitled "Evaluation and interpretation of DNA analysis results", 2015.
- Study visit to the Forensic Center in Budapest and Szeged as part of the TAIEX activity "Methodology of analysis of new synthetic drugs", Budapest/Szeged, Hungary, 2015.
- Expert mission at the Centre, conducted as part of TAIEX activities by the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the University of Freiburg, Germany
- Study visit to the Department of Forensic Medicine, Section of Forensic Chemistry at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, as part of TAIEX activities regarding the implementation of methods for the analysis of anabolic steroids and peptide hormones; Copenhagen, Denmark, 2014.

- Expert mission conducted as part of TAIEX activities on the topic of 'Forensic analysis of inks and toners using a Raman spectrometer,' implemented at the Centre in collaboration with the IFR from Krakow, Poland, 2013.
