The Center for Forensic Examinations, Research, and Expertise "Ivan Vučetić" Celebrates Its 70th Anniversary

The Center for Forensic Examinations, Research, and Expertise "Ivan Vučetić" has grown into a modern institution that today stands shoulder to shoulder with European and world forensic institutes.

On June 19, the Center celebrated its 70th Anniversary with the theme of "Knowledge, Truth, Justice for All". AAFS President C. Ken Williams submitted a brief video that was presented during the celebration.

Head of the center, Andrea Ledić, stated, "In the last few years, we have come out of the fold of Europe and we have set out into the world. In doing so, I would like to single out our good cooperation with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, which aims precisely to promote professionalism, but also to encourage association and cooperation. In today's age of digitalization and the increasing use of artificial intelligence in business processes, the common goal of modern forensic experts and scientists must be proactive action in relation to perpetrators of criminal offenses, and the same is possible only through encouraging cooperation among world experts in forensic sciences. We face various challenges every day and that is why we must act together with the aspiration of continuous improvement of forensic investigation in our country, all for a safer and fairer society."
