Digital forensics Department
The Digital Forensics Service is responsible for conducting expert examinations of digital records on computers, mobile phones, digital data storage media and specialized devices. This also includes tasks related to quality management systems and introduction of new methods as well as improvement and further development of existing methods.
The field of digital forensics involves acquisition, analysis and interpretation of digital records with the aim of establishing facts in court proceedings involving computer systems, networks, mobile devices, and digital media as well as specific methods in the field of forensic analysis of audio recordings. The procedures carefully follow forensic standards to preserve the integrity of evidence and the traceability of each step of the analysis.
